COMPETITION PROTOCOL // CODE OF CONDUCT

COMPETITIVE INTEGRITY

1. Zero Tolerance for Cheating: The use of any external program, script, bug exploit, or hardware manipulation that provides an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited. This includes match-fixing and deliberate attempts to lose a match.
2. Game Compliance: Players must use only officially sanctioned versions of the game and must adhere to all in-game rules and tournament formats as dictated by the event organizer.
3. No Account Sharing/Smurfing: All players must compete using their own verified accounts. Participating under a different or unverified Gamertag (Smurfing) is a serious violation.
4. Respect for Equipment: Any equipment, console, or venue property provided by the tournament must be treated with care. Damage caused by neglect or malice will result in penalties and financial liability.

Violation of these rules will result in immediate disqualification and a ban from future events.

RESPECT & COMMUNITY

• Harassment and Hate Speech: Any form of verbal, written, or implied harassment, bullying, or the use of hate speech targeting race, gender, nationality, religion, disability, or sexual orientation is strictly forbidden.
• Sportsmanlike Conduct: Players are expected to maintain professional and respectful behavior toward opponents, teammates, staff, and spectators, regardless of the outcome of a match.
• Digital Decorum: Keep all communications (both in-game and on official channels) clean and respectful. Excessive profanity, spamming, or disruptive behavior is not allowed.
• Venue Conduct: Follow all local council rules and venue guidelines, ensuring a safe and clean environment for everyone, reflecting positively on the Ugandan gaming community.

REGISTRATION & COMPLIANCE

• Accurate Information: All personal details provided during registration (Full Name, Date of Birth, National ID where applicable) must be truthful for legal compliance and prize fulfillment.
• Age Limit: Participants must meet the minimum age requirement for the specific prize-based tournament as determined by official Ugandan gaming laws (e.g., as per the legal advice referenced in our business plan). Proof of age may be requested.
• Official Decisions: The decisions of tournament administrators and referees on all matters, including rule interpretation, technical issues, and penalty assessment, are final. Players must comply promptly.
